OUTLAWS SUFFER OT LOSS

Saturday the Mission City Outlaws would welcome the Surrey Knights to Mission Leisure Centre which was the 2nd meeting of the season.  Knights took the first meeting back on October 23 and the Outlaws were looking to return the favour.
Outlaws had a much better start to this game than the game on Friday night and Rehaun Lidder got the Outlaws on the board early and Nolan Thornley would get his first in the PJHL and Mission City would lead 2-0 after 1.
Outlaws got into some early penalty trouble in the middle frame and it cost them dearly as Surrey would score 3 unanswered to take the lead for the first time on the game lead by a pair of goals from Knights forward Parkor Sarai but the Outlaws would answer back late in the period as the Knights got into some penalty trouble themselves and Cade Peden and Cooper Crowe would restore the lead to 4-3 going into the final frame of regulation.
Outlaws tried to tighten things up in the final frame of regulation but once again, Mission City would find themselves in penalty trouble.  Surrey would capitalize late in the game and tie things up and this game would need overtime.
In the overtime period the Outlaws were guilty of not 1 or 2 but 3 breakaway chances to the Knights and Wesley Rawley would secure the 5-4 victory over the Mission City Outlaws.
The Penalty kill has been a trouble spot for Mission City lately as Surrey was 3 for 7 on the man advantage.  Outlaws were able to finally bump the slump as they were 2 for 5 in the contest.   Mission City is the most penalized team in the division and sit 7th out of 8 on the penalty kill at 73.5%
The 2 teams will play next Thursday back at North Surrey Sport and Ice Complex at 7pm.
