  • OUTLAWS BACK IN THE WIN COLUMN
Wednesday night the Mission City Outlaws finished their longest road trip of the season with a stop in Aldergrove to take on the Aldergrove Ironmen.
Mission City had many chances to open the scoring in the contest but Ironmen Goalie Matthew Crotenko would stand on his head for most of the opening frame until Colton Collard would extend his goal scoring streak to 14 games and the Outlaws would lead 1-0 after 1 period.
Outlaws didn’t take very long in the 2nd when Cooper Crowe scored just 1:18 in to extend the lead to 2-0 with the only goal of the middle stanza.
Ethan Raymond would notch his 1st of his PJHL career in the 3rd period and Justin Goetz would pick up his first shutout of the season as the Outlaws defeat the Ironmen 3-0 and are back in the win column.  Cade Peden had a pair of assists in the victory.
The win now puts the Outlaws in a tie for 3rd in the Conference with their next opponent, the Port Moody Panthers who Mission City will face on Saturday night at 6:45pm at Mission Leisure Centre.
